Sthala Virutcham Meaning / Significance

Each temple has been a certain type of tree, the divine tree. (Virutcham = tree). The devotees go around this divine tree. In most Shiva temples mango tree or Vilwa tree.  Every divine tree is of important and historical significance to that particular temple.
