Arundavanayaki.

Banyan tree, the theertham offered is Brahmma Theertham and Parasurama
Theertham and the Agamam / Pooja done in Sri Alandurayar temple is Sivagama
pooja.
· On the Shivalinga Sambirani thailam – A fragrant oil
is applied.
· At the time of Paranthaka Cholan the renovation of
this temple was done.
· A cup is placed in upside-down format to ensure darshan
as the Shivalinga is too small. And the Abhishek is performed on top of this temple
only.
