There are six different faces and homes are there for Lord Murugan(also known as Kumara,kandha, karthikeya, vadivela), all the six homes are located in the state of Tamil Nadu in South India.

Let us discuss about the different homes of Muruga.

1. Thiruparamkundram:

Thiruparamkundram is located in the Madurai hills, as per the history Kandar married Indra's daughter devasena(Devayani) in thiruparamkundram.

2.Thiruchendur: 

Thiruchendur is the only temple among the six which is located in sea shore. other are located in mountains and hills.
In thiruchendur, Muruga worshipped the lord Shiva and battle against the devil "Soorapadmanan".

3.Swamimalai:

Swamimalai is located near Kumbakonam, the temple is built on an artificial hill. 

4.Palani:

The palani temple is considered to be the foremost among Murugan temple of Tamil Nadu. The town is located near Dindigul.

5.Thiruthani:

Thiruthani is located near Chennai, here the lord murugar is calm after the war with devils and Married Valli in thiruthani.

6. Pazhamudircholai:

Pazhamudircholai is located near Madurai hills.
