Mylapore Kapaleeshwarar Temple is one of the most eminent temple located in Chennai city, the capital of Tamil nadu. This temple was built in 7th century based on Dravidian architectural style.

Lord Shiva is worshipped as Kapaleeshwarar and Goddess Parvati / Parvathi is worshiped as Kapragambal in this magnificent temple. Separate sanctums for God and Goddess of the temple is of great significant. There are also separate sanctums for Lord Vinayaga, Lord Muruga and other gods in this temple.
