Mahalingapuram Ayyappan Temple Nungambakkam | Mahalingapuram Sree Ayyappan Temple

Around the year 1970, Brahmasree kaniappaur sankaran namboodiri was invited from kerala to build this temple. He contructed the temple for Lord Iyyappa with Lord Vinayagar and Murugar. Earlier 1972, they collected money from various dontaions.


The temple is around 40 years old and also considered as the one of the oldest temples in chennai for Lord Ayyappa.
