Story / History Of Pandava Thootha Perumal Temple
After the war of Kurukshetra, grandson of Pandavas, Pareekshit ascended the throne and he begged Acharya Vysampayana to let him know his ancestor's story. The great Sage Vysampayana said the Vishwarupa story to the him. Pareekshit sought the advice of the sage and he came to this place and did penance on Lord Krishna in Kanchipuram and he achieved the wish, the Vishwarupa darshan, in this beautiful holy sacred land.
Lord Krishna blesses his devotees with Viswapadhayoga powers. People circumambulate this temple or roll around this temple touching the earth with all body's parts will have all 72,000 veins healthy that can withstand and resist any kind of infection. Best time for worshipping the great temple is on Wednesday, Saturdays, Rohini Star Days and the eighth day from new moon or full moondays, Ashtami and on 8th day of this month gife people with all prosperity and a healthy life.
