Siva Vishnu Temple T Nagar - The Rare Union Of Gods

As the name suggests this temple is very unique. Located in the heart of the Chennai, this temple is such a powerful and beautiful temple with frequent visits of several people daily. The rare combination of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu here is such a blessing for a devotee to seek grace of both the supreme Gods in the same place. You can also see separate shrines for Lord Murugan, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman and several other shrines in this complex. This temple complex serves as a place of peace in the busiest T Nagar locality. Temple History

People requested Sri Parmacharya to build a temple in T Nagar.  Nodding to that, Paramacharya initiated the construction of this temple by giving 11 rupees and later many other people voluntarily joined hands to take care of this divine job.  Consecration (Kumbabishekam) of this temple was held in 1945 with the blessings of several sages through out the nation and with the gathering of thousands of people.  

The temple has became very big in the following years and now stands as one of the important place of worship in Chennai city.  This magnificent temple offers a tranquil place to do meditation. Almost daily prasadhams are offered by several devotees as their wishes gets fulfilled. As a symbol of gratitude to the almighty, people offer prasadhams to other devotees.
