Maharishi Patanjali Jeeva Samadhi

Another wonderful fact about the temple is that it is one of the Jeeva Samadhis of Patanjali Maharishi. If you are wondering, what about the Samadhi in Rameshwaram, then there is a thing you got to know. Many Maharishis, chose to be born and attain Samadhi 1 for each chakra, so 7 in all. While we are aware of Rameshwaram a lot, Thirupattur is a place you need to visit, if your Karma allows.
Maharishi Patanjali is said to be the form of Adhi Sesha, the snake bed of Lord Vishnu. He is the one who guards the Patala Loka. When people suffer from Pitru Dosha, which means the ancestors in the patala loka are not peaceful, then worshipping Maharishi Patanjali will appease them, and bring changes in your life. Profound vibrations are felt in this Jeeva Samadhi and if you can meditate here, then you will feel the vibes to fill you with eternal peace
