The Lord Ganesha also known as Lord Vigneshwara, Pillayar, Ganapathy and in many more names.
The Lord Ganapathy was Praised as First god for all events in all occasions in Hinduism. There are two major categories in Hinduism, they are Shaivam and Vainavam. Lord Shiva is related to Shaivam and Lord Vishnu is related to Vainavam.
Even though, the two groups worship two different Gods, Lord Ganesh will be worship by all. Even foreigners during late 9th centuries worshiped lord Ganesha for their trades and Business.
In 1993, a metal plate depiction of Ganesha had been discovered, in Iran, dating back to 1,200 BC.
Commercial and cultural contacts extended India's influence all over the world. Ganesha is one of a number of Hindu deities who reached foreign lands as a result.
