Mother Parvati is gracing as Karumariamman is a powerful god who blesses her devotees who are truly devoted to her.From the ancient period till now she is worshipped exceptionally by her devotees.Sridevi Karumariamman temple in Calgary is a charitable oraganisation and is a first south Indian temple opened in Calgary.The main deity is Sridevi Karumariamman and also other deities present here are Lord Ganapathy,Lord Murugan,Lord Shiva,Lord Ayyappan,Lord Lakshmi Narayan,Hanuman and Saneeswara Bhagavan.
Temple's pujas and festivals:
The temple is opened on all days of the week.Daily pujas are offered to the deities present here.And if special pujas are to be made by the devotees are done by bookings before the day the puja to be made.Abishegam are conducted on Sundays at 11:15am.Temple special pujas are Varalakshmi vratam for goddess Lakshmi who is worshiped for good wealth and prosperity in life.Mahasivarathri is also celebrated and is dedicated to Lord Shiva which is said to be as "The Night of Shiva".This festival is celebrated with the devotion in honor of Lord Shiva.Navaratri and Durga puja is celebrated as victory of good over evil.Kantha Shashti Viratham dedicated to Lord Murugan.He is also called as Kanthan meaning beauty,greatness,true knowledge.These are bestowed upon those who praise and worship him.Kanthan is very power or energy of Lord Shiva himself.

Puja hours:weekdays - 7:30 pm and Saturdays - 12:00 - 12:30 pm & 7:30 - 7:45 pm.Saturday temple hours - 11am-1:00 pm & 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.Sunday temple hours - 11:00 am - 1:30 pm.
