Mahalakshmi is a powerful goddess blesses wealth and prosperity to her devotees. Shree Mahalakshmi Temple situated in Vancouver was established on January 31,1990 under the auspices of vidya pitam. This temple is dedicated to Shree Mahalakshmi,established under the guidance of Shri Prameya Chaitanya,the Acharya in charge,whose vision of leading the community both through Bhakti marg and Jnana marg. All the Hindu festivals are celebrated here according to vedic tradition.

Overview:

The idol of Lord Lakshmi Vinayaka was installed in 1993 and Lord Hanuman installed in the year 2000 at the temple.In the present day,the only guaranteed protection is a divine protection.Divine grace is invoked by pujas and prayers.Installation of Lakshmi Vinayaka and Lakshmi Anjaneya,devotees initiated to mantras by the priest and participate in japa session held every Chathurthi day for Lord Ganesha and every last Saturday of month dedicated to Hanuman.Also japa offered to Mother Mahalakshmi on every full moon day.Praying Hanuman brings intellectual strength,fame,courage and fearlessness.Every year nine day prayer and yagna of Hanuman is conducted which is attended by large number of devotees.

Temple Timings - Opening And Closing Time

Regular activities of temple includes sastang on Mondays dedicated to Lord Shiva between 7:30pm-8:30pm.Friday sastang from 7:30pm-9:00pm and Sunday sastang from 10:30am - 12:30pm.
