Festivals Celebrated in this Temple

In
this temple, a 10 - day Chithirai Devanatha Perumal Brahmotsavam is celebrated in
a very grand manner. During these 10 days, Garuda Seva takes place on the 5th
day and Theerthavari takes place on the 9th day with more than 1
lakh of devotee crowd.

Perumal
Vasanth Utsav is celebrated for 10 days and Nammazhwar Sathumurai for 10 days
during the months May – June.
·
Aadi
new moon day – Amavasya, and Aadi Pooram is celebrated in July – August. Aavani
Pavithra Utsav during August – September.
·
Narasimha
Jayanthi, Andal wedding festival, and Sri Krishna Jayanthi Is celebrated. Purattasi
Maha Desikan Utsav is celebrated during September – October and Deepavali in
October – November is celebrated for the first three Azhwars.

Tirukarthikai
is celebrated in the months November - December. In the months December-January
Hanumath Jayanthi and Vaikunda Ekadasi is celebrated.

Makar
Sankranti and Bogi is celebrated in the months January- February. Panguni Sri
Rama Navai in March- April. These are the festivals celebrated in this temple
yearly with immense of devotees taking part in it.
Prayers and Thanks Giving
Devotees pray for economic stability, health, longevity, and children. As
a remedy for any illness of any severity people place salt, pepper, and jaggery
in the walls of the temple.
Devotees light ghee lamps and Maa vilakku and offer tulsi garlands. They
offer prasad to other people and organize Annadhana also. They offer white
garments to the Lord and perform Tirumanjanam.
